The Sims 4 University: How to Attend Guest Lectures

Sims with the Academic aspiration activated are completely focused on getting excellent grades and going above and beyond when it comes to learning new things and improving their academic skills.

One of the ways they can go to extra mile to achieve academic success is by attending guest lectures.

How do you attend a guest lecture in Sims 4? To attend guest lectures in The Sims 4, click on the two classroom buildings located in the Quad Area and select the Attend lecture option. Lectures are available only on weekdays and weekends between 5 PM and 7 PM.

Keep in mind that guest lectures are not free, you need to pay a fee to be able to attend them.

Going Down The Rabbit Hole of Guest Lecture Buildings

In the Quad Area, where your university’s statue is located, there are six buildings that you can click on: the Student Commons building, the Sports Arena, two dorms, and two classroom buildings.

Click on one of the two classroom buildings between 5 PM and 7 PM. and if it’s time for a lecture, the option to attend it will pop up.

If there is no guest lecture available, the option to attend the lecture will be grayed out.

On a side note, if your Sim has excellent skills and academic results, they can click on the same classroom buildings to tutor other Sims for money.

If your Sims has a really packed schedule and you enrolled them in way too many classes, the best approach is to attend guest lectures on weekends.

Also, if your Sim is on the eSports or soccer team, you can still attend the guest lectures to complete the Academic Aspiration but you’ll be a little late to the game.

The Academic Aspiration is not actually one of the funniest and most interesting aspirations to have. It’s not even absolutely necessary for students attending University.

But it does offer some really nice reward traits.

By the way, if your Sim refuses to attend classes, move them off campus and check if you notice any changes.

If your Sim decides that going to University no longer suits their needs, you can simply drop out of university.
