Halo Infinite: How to put on helmet attachments

If you want to improve your helmet armor in Halo Infinite, you can put on different helmet attachments. You can also use these attachments to customize your character’s look.

How to equip helmet attachments in Halo Infinite

  • Step 1: Equip your character with a helmet
  • Step 2: Click on the helmet
  • Step 3: Click on the Attachments tab
  • Step 4: Select the attachment you want to use
  • Step 5: Click on the Equip button to add the attachment

You can earn your first helmet attachment after reaching Level 2 in the Battle Pass Premium. You’ll then unlock the UA/Type B1 attachment which brings  enhanced helmet armor.

Keep in mind that each attachment is compatible with a specific helmet. They’re not interchangeable, they only work with specific helmets. Be sure to use the attachment assigned to the helmet model you’re using.

If you can’t find the option to add an attachment to your helmet, this indicates your helmet doesn’t support attachments.

What helmet attachments do

Each helmet attachment packs different optimization and improvement options. For example, the Commando helmet supports three different types of attachments.

List of Commando helmet attachments

  • UA/Type B1: Enhanced helmet armour.
  • FC-I/ FASCIA: This attachment adds an additional satcom receiver panel, FASCIA hardware-accelerator for decryption, and protects the faceplate from high-angle attacks.
  • HUL[3]/BNR/COURIER PEARL: This third-generation HUL (Hardened UpLink) is designed and manufactured by the Watershed Division for use by Section III and Spartan team leaders.

List of EVA helmet attachments

  • HUL[3]/BNR/COURIER PEARL
  • TAC/RS/WILLOW: Though considered somewhat antiquated, the PZY-955SSA is highly dependable and natively compatible with older UNSC and CMA encoding formats.
  • TAC/RS/STARLIGHT: Starlight units are a suite of optical sensors that integrate directly with Mjolnir VISR drivers and intelligence analysis systems to provide real-time information.
