Planning your Sims’ wedding event can be a quite stressful. You need to pick the right wedding dress, bouquet, cake, and find the right place to host the event. But sometimes, unexpected things do happen and the wedding goals may not show up or complete.

What to do if wedding goals are not showing or completing in Sims 4

Check if there’s a holiday going on

If there’s a holiday going on right on the day of your Sims’ wedding, event goals won’t show up. This is not a glitch, these limitations exist by design. Make sure to schedule your Sims’ wedding on a holiday-free day.

Enable Goaled Event

When selecting the type of event that you want to host, make sure to tick the Goaled Event checkbox. Select Wedding under event type, and be sure to specify you want it goaled.

Update your game and mods

If you’re using mods, move your Mods folder to your desktop, and check if the wedding goals show up. If the issue is gone, this indicates one of your mods is the culprit. Make sure to update all of them.

If the problem persists after updating your mods to the latest version, move the Mods folder back to your desktop. Then, move your mods back to your game folder, one at a time, to identify the culprit.

Don’t forget to update Sims 4 to the latest version. Check for updates, install all pending updates, and then restart your computer.

Conclusion

If your wedding goals won’t show up or complete in The Sims 4, make sure to enable the Goaled Event option. Additionally, check if there’s a holiday going on. Then, update your game and mods to the latest version.
