Sims 4 Missing Aspirations: How to Bring Them Back

fix sims 4 aspirations missing

What are aspirations in Sims 4? in The Sims 4, every Sim has their own set of aspirations or life goals. Think of aspirations as the ultimate drivers for Sims. When Sims reach their aspirations, they earn Aspiration points which players can then use to purchase powerful potions or add new traits to their Sims.

Players must choose the aspirations for their Sims when they create the characters or when a Sim baby grows up into a child.

The good news is that if you’re not satisfied with your Sim’s aspirations, you can change them during gameplay.

But what do you do if your Sim’s aspirations are missing completely? They’re gone, nowhere to be seen, vanished into thin air.

Why are my Sim’s aspirations missing? Your Sim’s aspirations may be missing because you toggled the option off or some of the game files accidentally got deleted or they got corrupted.

Therefore, check the game’s options menu and make sure aspirations are set to visible otherwise they won’t show up.

Sims 4 Lost Aspirations: How to Fix That

Fix 1 –  Temporarily disable your mods

Mod conflicts could cause your Sim’s aspiration to disappear. Obviously, the simplest and easiest solution is to move your Mods folder to your desktop and check if the aspirations are now visible again. If they are, try to identify which mod is causing this problem by putting them back one by one in the Sims 4 folder.

Once you identified the culprit, you’ve got two choices: get the latest updates for the respective mod (if there are any) or stay away from it until the devs update it and render it compatible with the game.

Fix 2 –  Repair your game

If some of your game files got corrupted, got accidentally deleted, or are no longer working properly, you’ll experience all sorts of glitches, including aspiration issues.

The good news is that you can quickly solve this problem by repairing the game. To do that, open your Origin library, right-click on Sims 4 and select the Repair option.

If the issue persists, we suggest editing your Sim’s aspirations. Add new aspirations and make sure your Sim achieves them as quickly as possible in order to earn more Aspiration points.

We hope something helps.
