How do I fix error CE-112908-1 on PS5?

Switch to a different connection

If you’re using a Wi-Fi connection, switch to an Ethernet cable and check if you still run into the same issue. Of course, if you’re already using a cable connection, switch to a wireless connection and check if error CE-112908-1 is gone.

Remove the current Internet connection

If you still can’t load anything in the Store, delete the original Wi-Fi connection and re-add it. Use your phone’s hotspot and add a new connection. In this manner, you’ll be able to delete the Wi-Fi connection. Keep in mind that if this is the only connection available, the option to delete it is grayed out.

So, delete the original connection after you’ve added a new connection. Restart your console, add the Wi-Fi connection again, connect to it and check if the issue is gone.

Of course, if you’re on a cable connection, connect to Wi-Fi, delete your LAN connection, re-add your LAN connection and switch from Wi-Fi to LAN.

Change to automatic DNS and reset your router

If the problem persists, disconnect your console from the Internet and unplug your router. Wait two minutes, plug the power cable back in, boot up your router, go to the Store and check if the console can find what you’re looking for.

Additionally, you may also want to change to automatic DNS if your console is set to manual DNS. If nothing worked, simply reset your router. Grab the  pointed end of a paperclip, and hold the Reset button for 10 or 15 seconds.

Conclusion

PS5 error CE-112908-1 indicates your network connection is unstable or the console can’t use it to connect to Sony’s servers. To fix the problem, switch to a different connection, delete the current Internet connection and then re-add it, or change to automatic DNS.
