Troubleshooting NBA 2K Invisible Player

If all you get is an invisible player when trying to play NBA 2K, rest assured, there are plenty of possible solutions that you can use to fix this problem no matter the gaming platform you’re using.

This issue seems to affect many players who played the NBA 2K Demo version and then got the official release version of the game.

How to Fix Invisible Player Glitch in NBA 2K

Fix 1 – Delete Saved data and refresh your account (Xbox fix)

1. Go to Manage games and add-ons and go to Saved Data
2. Right-click on your gamer tag and select Delete save data. Make sure you delete the saved data from everywhere, not just your console.
3. Navigate to network settings and go offline
4. Use a computer or a phone to go to the official NBA 2K website
5. Click on the Xbox and sign into your Xbox Account and unlink your 2K account
6. Launch NBA 2K again on your Xbox, and go back online
7. Attempt to reconnect as many times as necessary until you can create a player.

For Step 5, you can also go to Settings > My account > select Remove all accounts. Refresh your page to make sure you’re completed signed out.

Fix 2 – Remove Saved Data (PS4 fix)

1. Close the game and disconnect from the Internet
2. Navigate to Storage
3. Go to Saved data and select NBA 2K
4. The Saved data in system storage screen will list all the NBA 2K items saved on your console
5. Manually select all the items one by one, don’t use the Select all option
6. Hit the Delete button to get rid of all that data
7. Launch the game again and go back online — at this point your player should no longer be invisible.

Fix 3 – Create a new MyPlayer and then go back to the original file

1. Create a new MyPlayer and launch a new MyCareer
2. When the Navigation Menu appears on the screen, quit to the main menu
3. Load into the original file and your invisible player should appear now.
