How to fix Halo Infinite stuck in login loop

Delete browser cookies and cache

  1. Launch Steam
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to Web Browser
  4. Click on Delete Web browser cache
  5. Hit OK to delete all the browser cache files
  6. Then, select Delete all browser cookies
  7. Hit OK to remove all Steam browser cookie data
  8. Restart Halo Infinite, and check if you can log into your account

Remove Halo Infinite sign in credentials

  1. Click on Windows Search
  2. Type Credential Manager
  3. Double-click on Credential Manager
  4. Click on Windows Credentials
  5. Navigate to Generic Credentials
  6. Delete all the entries that start with Xbl|2043073184
  7. Confirm your choice when prompted
  8. Launch Halo Infinite and try to sign in again

Keep in mind that by removing all the Xbl|2043073184 entries, you may get signed out of your Xbox network sign-ins on your PC.

Change your password

If you’re still stuck on the login window, try changing your password. Then, launch Halo Infinite again. Steam should automatically throw you to the original sign in screen. You should be able to successfully sign in this time.
