Halo Infinite: Multiplayer is not available, please try again later

If Halo Infinite says that multiplayer mode is not available, check the game server status. If the servers are down, wait it out. If it’s Tuesday and you’re playing on Steam, Halo Infinite multiplayer may be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance.

Go back to the main menu

Back out to the main menu, then go to Multiplayer again and check if you can join the match. Many players confirmed that going to the main menu and switching back to Multiplayer solved the problem for them. If the issue persists, restart the game a few times.

Alternatively, launch a custom game. Then, select local/offline. Start the game and leave it after a few seconds. Go back to multiplayer and check if you can play Halo Infinite Multiplayer.

Disable Razer Chroma

Many Halo Infinite players confirmed they were able to play multiplayer after disabling Razer Chroma. The lighting effects start immediately after you launch the game. Apparently, the same lighting effects might sometimes break Halo Infinite multiplayer.

Try playing Halo Infinite with Razer Synapse Halo Chroma disabled.

  1. Open Razer Synapse.
  2. Select your Chroma enabled product.
  3. Then, click on  the Chrome Apps tab.
  4. Click on Off to disable Chroma Applications.

Check your Internet connection

Make sure your Internet connection is working properly. Switch to a cable connection, and disconnect all the other devices to free up more bandwidth for Halo Infinite.

Additionally, unplug your router and wait for two minutes. Meanwhile, restart your computer or console. Then, plug the router back into the wall outlet. Launch Halo Infinite and check if you can play multiplayer.

Conclusion

If Halo Infinite Multiplayer is not available, go back to the main menu, and then click on Multiplayer again. Repeat the process a few times until you can join the match. Additionally, disable Razer Chroma and check your Internet connection.
