Fix: Failed to join login queue in New World

ix-failed-to-join-login-queue-new-world

New World’s success seems to have taken Amazon by surprise. The server infrastructure is struggling to handle all the connection requests which often leads to long queue times. To make things even worse, players may sometimes get all sorts of errors while waiting in queues such as Too Many Requests ExceptionHttp Error Response errors, and so on.

Another common queue error is the “Failed to join login queue” error message. This error indicates that your computer could not connect to New World’s servers and join the login queue.

How to fix “Failed to join login queue” New World error

The idea is to make sure your Internet connection is stable in order to prevent login queue issues in the first place.

Check your connection

Unplug your router. Leave the device unplugged for two minutes. Then plug the router back into the wall outlet and check if you can join New World’s login queue.

Additionally, switch to a cable connection. Ethernet connections are faster and more stable compared to wireless connections.

Don’t forget to disconnect all the other devices using the same network connection to free up more bandwidth for New World.

Disable IPv6

  1. Exit New World
  2. Go to Windows Settings
  3. Then select Network and Internet
  4. Click on Wi-Fi (left pane)
  5. Scroll down to Change adapter options
  6. Right click your network connection and select Properties
  7. Scroll down to Internet Protocol version 6.
  8. Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TPC/IPv6) checkbox.

    • ipconfig / renew
    • netsh winsock reset
  3. Restart your computer
  4. Launch New World and check if you can join the queue
