In this guide, we’ll explore what Robustness does in Elden Ring, and how you can increase this Defensive stat.
What does Robustness do in Elden Ring?
Robustness is a Defensive Stat in Elden Ring that helps you increase resistance to hemorrhage and frostbite. It is determined by your character’s attributes and equipment.
In a fast-paced combat situation, you may not always have enough time to drink a Flask of Crimson Tears to restore your HP. You can increase your Robustness to diminish the effects of attacks causing hemorrhage and frostbite damage.
How to increase Robustness
To increase Robustness, you need to add more points to the Endurance stat. The Mottled Necklace and Stalwart Horn Charm talismans also increase Robustness.
Additionally, you can consume White Cured Meat and Invigorating Cured Meat to temporarily increase Robustness.
You can also equip specific armor sets that have high Robustness, such as General Radahn’s Set or Lionel’s Set.
Robustness is sometimes useless
Unfortunately, most of the time, Robustness is worthless against meta-bleed builds, especially in PvP. For example, if your enemy is extremely powerful, you may get an instant bleed from a single attack in PvP even at a Robustness level of 400.
To avoid such unpleasant events, use the Jellyfish Shield. This Greatshield offers full damage protection.
And now you know.
