What to do if mausoleums are not working in Elden Ring

If you want to duplicate Remembrances in Elden Ring, you need to find a mausoleum. That’s the only place where you can duplicate Remembrances.

Unfortunately, many Elden Ring players have complained some mausoleums are not working. The Remembrance they want to duplicate does not show up.

Let’s discuss what you can do to solve this problem.

Why can’t I duplicate Remembrances in Elden Ring?

The reason why you can’t duplicate Remembrance in Elden Ring is because the mausoleum you’re at is incompatible with the Remembrance you’re trying to duplicate. Mausoleums  without a bell don’t accept Shard Bearer remembrances.

Fix Elden Ring mausoleums not working

Go to a different mausoleum

If you can’t duplicate Remembrances, this indicates the mausoleum you’re at is not compatible with the type of Remembrance you’re trying to duplicate.

There are two different types of mausoleums in the Lands Between. The first category can duplicate Remembrances from main bosses, while the second one can only duplicate Remembrances from lesser bosses. You can duplicate demigod remembrances only at mausoleums with bells under them.

Keep in mind you can only duplicate one Remembrance per mausoleum.

The mausoleums for main boss Remembrances support multiple types of Remembrances. On the other hand, those for lesser bosses support only Remembrances from lesser bosses.
