Elden-Ring-kill-Gostoc

Gatekeeper Gostoc is an Elden Ring NPC that you can find by the entrance of Stormveil Castle. His behavior is quite strange. While he seems willing to help you, he actually steals 30 percent of your Runes when you die in Stormveil Castle. Additionally, he will gleefully lock the door behind you when you enter a room filled with bosses forcing you to fight for your life.

That’s why many players are wondering if killing Gostoc is a good idea.
