Giant bears are vulnerable to bleeding. Their legs are their weakest point. To defeat them, you need to get underneath them. Try to roll under the bear as he swings and target the legs and crotch area. The bear will have trouble hitting you back when you’re under his crotch or stomach. Stay as close as you can to his crotch and stomach to remain in the blind zone.

If you’re riding Torrent, you should definitely dismount when fighting giant bears.

One of the most challenging parts when it comes to fighting the giant bears is blocking their charge attack and vicious bite. Keep in mind that giant bears can run away from you and charge you without winding up. They’ll get angrier as their health gets lower.

What to do when you see a giant bear

  • Dodge his attacks, don’t try to block them
  • Try to get behind or underneath the bear
  • Take your time, don’t attack blindly
  • Ensure your HP doesn’t get dangerously low

If you’re not ready, avoid giant bears

If your stats are not great, the best approach is to avoid giant bears. They’re way too strong, and death is guaranteed. By the way, magic does very little damage to them.
