To get to the Church of Repose in Elden Ring, you need to go to Mountaintops of the Giants. That’s where the church is located. Use the Grand Lift of Rold to access the area and then head east. Keep on traveling until you reach the church.
There’s a Sacred Tear before the main statue of the Church of Repose. Add it to your inventory and use it to upgrade the Crimson and Cerulean Flask Potency to +12.
You need to defeat Bloody Finger Okina before you can get to the statue. After obtaining the Sacred Tear, you can leave the area and continue to explore The Lands Between.
There are many Sites of Grace in the Mountaintops of the Giants area. Make sure to activate all of them and save your favorite sites on a separate list.
Watch out for Bloody Finger Okina
Once you reach the Church of Repose, Bloody Finger Okina will invade you.
Okina is a mysterious NPC that can help you defeat Radahn using his powerful Rivers of Blood katana. If you want to get your hands on his katana, you need to defeat him.
If you’re not interested in getting the Rivers of Blood katana, you can simply skip the fight. Okina is not a mandatory enemy.
South-east of the church, there’s a giant skull carved into the hillside holding an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone in its mouth. Feel free to collect it and add it to your inventory.
As you can see, you have three main objectives at the Church of Repose: defeat Okina and collect the Sacred Tear and the Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
