Many Elden Ring players have complained about not being able to see their friends’ summon signs. This can be quite an annoying problem. But the good news is that you can quickly fix it.
Do this if you can’t see your friends’ summon signs in Elden Ring
Refresh the Furlcalling Finger Remedy
If you can’t see your friends’ summon signs in Elden Ring, this indicates the Furlcalling Finger Remedy is not working properly. Use a new Furlcalling Finger Remedy and try again.
As a quick reminder, you can buy the Furlcalling Finger Remedy from Merchant Kalé or Patches.
You can also craft this item yourself. To do that, you need two Erdleaf Flowers.
A third option is to loot Furlcalling Finger Remedy items from the corpses scattered around The Lands Between.
Then, ask your friends to leave summon signs behind. Use a new Furlcalling Finger Remedy and check if you can see their signs.
Use a multiplayer password
Go to Multiplayer, open the password section, create a password and share it with your friends. Use the Furlcalling Finger Remedy again, and you should be able to see their summon signs.
When you use a Furlcalling Finger Remedy, Elden Ring automatically checks for any summon signs in that area. The game shows you the summon signs of the nearest players.
Reduce level differences
If there’s a big level gap between you and your friends, you won’t be able to see their summon signs. If you’re way above or below them level-wise, you need to use a password to play together.
Alternatively, you can all start a new game and create a new character to make sure everybody is at the same level.
Use the same NAT type
The reason why you can’t see your friends’ summon sign is that you’re using different NAT types. For example, if you’re using NAT Type 2 while they have Type 3, you won’t be able to see their signs.
Tweak your device’s network settings, and make sure you’re all using the same NAT type. Restart the game and try again.
Check if the boss has already been killed
If the boss of the area has already been killed, your friends can’t use summon signs to ask for help. Killing certain bosses prevents players from using summoning signs.
Conclusion
If you can’t see your friends’ summon signs in Elden Ring, use a new Furlcalling Finger Remedy. Additionally, use a multiplayer password, create a new character to reduce level differences, and ensure you’re all using the same NAT type.
None of these work for me and even in different area’s I can’t see. My friends signs and they cant see mine buy they can see others
That the same for me as well. Still can’t summon anyone not even randoms.
Did you ever get it fixed?
It’s simply due to the fact that the main boss of an area was killed, preventing any gold summoning signs from appearing in that world. It’s sucks and need to be fixed.
Same issue with me when I tried to help him with Astel
