In this quick guide, we’ll explore what Remembrances do in Elden Ring and which you should replicate. Let’s dive right in!
What do Remembrances do in Elden Ring?
In Elden Ring, Remembrances are the souls of the bosses you killed. The only way to acquire Remembrances is to defeat specific bosses.
You can then trade them for Runes or rare weapons and powers that allow you to successfully tackle even more powerful bosses and enemies.
Players can replicate Remembrances at one of the Walking Mausoleums with bells under them.
When you duplicate Remembrances, you can either take both weapons or simply clone the Remembrances for more souls.
What are the best Remembrances to duplicate in Elden Ring?
The best Remembrances to duplicate in Elden Ring are those that you can trade for over 40,000 Runes. The Remembrance of the Blasphemous is likely the top choice. It gives you two a powerful spell (Rykard’s Rancor) and a greatsword (The Blasphemous Blade).
Rykard’s Rancor is highly effective against powerful enemies, particularly those of considerable size.
The Blasphemous Blade is an impressive and potent weapon.
These are the best Remembrances to duplicate in Elden Ring:
- The Remembrance of the Starscourge which is worth 40K Runes
- The Remembrance of the Blasphemous which is worth 50K Runes
- The Elden Remembrance which is worth 50K Runes
- The Remembrance of the Rot Goddess which is worth 50K Runes
These Remembrances also unlock powerful weapons.
- The Remembrance of the Starscourge unlocks the Greatsword
- The Remembrance of the Blasphemous gives you the Blasphemous Blade which is a Greatsword
- The Elden Remembrance offers you Marika’s Hammer
- The Remembrance of the Rot Goddess unlocks the Hand of Malenia which is a Katana sword
Select the Remembrance to duplicate depending on your current build. There is a finite number of Remembrance dupes available.
Keep this detail in mind when choosing which Remembrance to duplicate.
If you kill all the bosses, there simply are not enough walking mausoleums to duplicate each Remembrance.
Should I duplicate the Remembrance of the Grafted in Elden Ring?
The Remembrance of the Grafted is the first Remembrance you may get in Elden Ring. It gives you two unique weapons: the Axe of Godrick or the Grafted Dragon armaments. You should definitely duplicate it to get familiar with the remembrance duplication system.
How many times can you duplicate Remembrances in Elden Ring?
You can replicate only one Remembrance per mausoleum. If you want to replicate multiple Remembrances, you need to find another mausoleum.
You can duplicate the same Remembrance as many times as you want but you’ll need to find another mausoleum to do that.
How many Walking Mausoleums are there in Elden Ring?
There is a total of 7 Walking Mausoleums in Elden Ring. Three are located in Liurnia of the Lakes, two in Mountaintop of the Giants, one in Weeping Pennisula, and another one in Deeproot Depths.
Walking Mausoleum locations
- Location 1: Weeping Pennisula
The mausoleum is located between the Fourth Church of Marika and the Tower of Return.
- Location 2: Liurnia of the Lakes
One mausoleum is located near the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel. The two others can be found near the Mausoleum Compound Site of Grace.
- Location 3: Mountaintop of the Giants
One mausoleum is located Outside Castle Sol, to Ordina’s East. The other one can be found Northwest of Ordina.
- Location 4: Deeproot Depths
You can find the mausoleum near the Nameless Eternal City’s Site of Grace.
The catch is that only the mausoleums with a bell under them can dupe Remembrances. You need to play the game twice if you want to unlock all the weapons, spells, and talismans.
You can’t have everything in a single playthrough.
Rest assured, Elden Ring supports multiple characters and multiple saves. This means that you can experiment with different classes, builds, and endings.

There are seven but only five of them can duplicate every remembrance two of them and not Duplicate demigod bosses remembrances like starscourge for example. You will know what Mausoleum duplicate all remembrances by the Bell underneath if it has one than it can reproduce any remembrance
