How do I report a problem on the EA App?

The EA App is Electronic Arts’ PC platform, the place where you can play your favorite EA games.

Unfortunately, unexpected glitches may sometimes occur when you try to launch your games.

Whether you’re experiencing crashes, errors, or any other glitches, reporting them to EA’s support team can help you fix them faster.

At the same time, you can help the company identify and fix the bugs that affect multiple players.

In this guide, we’ll explore the steps you can take to report a problem on the EA App.

Identify the issue

Identify the signs that indicate something’s wrong with the EA App. Think about what you were doing when you started experiencing the glitch.

Take note of error messages if there were any.

Collect the necessary information

When you report a problem to EA’s Support team, include information such as:

  • Product code
  • Username
  • Device type
  • The steps to reproduce the bug
  • Screenshots
  • The date and time that you encountered the bug

You can use the EA Error Reporter to troubleshoot technical issues and share diagnostic information.

  1. Click the three horizontal lines of the EA App
  2. Go to Help
  3. Select the EA Error Reporter
  4. Select the type of issue you’re having
  5. Describe the glitch and include your case number if available
  6. Tick the box that reads Share diagnostic information when the report is submitted
  7. Click Submit report

Write down your Report ID in case you need to contact support again.

If you can’t open the EA App, go to Windows Search and type in EA Error Reporter. Double-click on the first result to launch the app.

Contact EA’s support team and report the bug

After identifying the issue and collecting the necessary information, you can contact EA’s support team and let them know about the problem.

You can submit a bug report, or give feedback via email, on Answers HQ, or within mobile games.

Go to EA Help, and click on Contact Us. Select your game and platform, and then click on Report a bug.

Depending on your game, EA might direct you to Answers HQ or ask you to send them an email.

If you’re directed to Answers HQ, check if other players have already opened a thread about the same issue. If they already reported the bug, hit the Mee too button.

There’s no need to write a new post.

If you can’t find anything similar to the problem you’re experiencing, feel free to add a new post to the board.

EA’s community managers will provide updates as soon as they become available.

If you’re asked to contact EA Support via email, enter the requested information and hit the Submit button.

While EA’s support team can’t reply right away when you submit a bug report or send them an email, they’ll analyze your input as soon as possible.
