Can You Become a Werewolf in Baldur’s Gate 3 ? Nope

Baldurs-Gate-3-Become-Werewolf

You cannot become a werewolf in Baldur’s Gate 3. Lycanthropy is not supported in the final release version of the game. There are werewolves in the game, but it’s not possible for them to transfer the curse to you.

However, data mined files suggest that the developers scrapped a Halfling werewolf companion named Helia. She might have been the key to allowing players to become werewolves.

Many Baldur’s Gate 3 fans were convinced the game would support playable werewolves.

Werewolves were seen in one of the trailers, namely the Panel From Hell. There hasn’t been any news on what that was about.

However, as you play the game, you’ll come to a part where Shadowheart reacts to fighting a werewolf and speaks of her fear of wolves.

She confesses she’s not terribly fond of wolves and adds that it all stems from traumatic childhood memories. She hopes she’ll be able to put that fear behind her.

Do you wish lycanthropy were supported in Baldur’s Gate 3? How do you think werewolves would impact your gameplay?
