WRC 10 is out now allowing players to show off their driving skills. But there are a lot of hurdles to overcome before fully enjoying the game. Unfortunately, WRC 10 is plagued by many unexpected bugs and glitches that may ruin the fun. Here are some of the most common WRC 10 issues that players have complained about.
List of common WRC 10 bugs
Server connection errors
WRC’s servers may sometimes get overloaded. If the servers can’t process your connection request, you’ll get all sorts of server connection errors. Try again later and make sure your network is working properly.
WRC crashes after one minute
WRC crashes after one minute no matter what players do. For example, you can race for one minute, but then the game suddenly crashes. If you leave it on the start stage menu, the game will crashes after a minute or two.
Make sure to close all background apps and update WRC to the latest version.
Wheel goes crazy rotating left and right
Many players complained their wheels randomly start rotating to the left and right. This issue seem to be prevalent for Thrustmaster wheels. Make sure to update the wheel driver to the latest version and check if the issue persists.
Sound glitches
If you’re experiencing various sound issues while playing WRC, you’re not the only one. Many players complained about similar issues: audio randomly cuts out, the volume is almost inaudible, various sound effects overlap at times, and so on. Oftentimes, players can’t hear the co-driver’s voice.
Make sure you update the game fully. Restart your PC or console, and check if the issue persists.
Poor performance emails
If you’re getting emails from the manufacturer or race team about poor performance even after winning a race, rest assured, this is only a bug. You did great.
The good news is that the devs are aware of this problem. They’re working on a hotfix which should be deployed with a major update some time in October or November. Hang on!
WRC not saving progress
Many players complained about WRC not saving game progress. To solve this problem, disable your antivirus and ensure all of your game files are on the same drive.
WRC gets stuck on Anniversary event
The game may sometimes get stuck on the anniversary events even if players complete them twice.
Keep in mind that WRC unlocks the events randomly. The main screen doesn’t show which events are completed and which are new. To go into the timeline and scroll about to check which events appear completed and which have been recently unlocked.
