If you can’t enable cheats in The Sims 4 because the game is unable to execute the command, close the Cheat Console, save your progress and go to the home screen. Load your save again, go to your lot, open the Cheat Console, type in testingcheats true and try again.
Restarting The Sims 4 is the quickest way to fix the “Unable to execute command” error message.
Just make sure to enable cheats from your lot in live mode.
If you’re typing the “testingcheats true” command from the world map, neighborhood view, or somewhere other than your lot, it won’t work.
If the issue persists, double-check to ensure you typed in the right command. Check for typos. The “Unable to execute command” error typically indicates you typed in an incorrect cheat code or command.
Additionally, check your keyboard settings. Make sure you’re using the right keyboard language.
If the issue persists, close the game. Then, go to your Origin library, right-click on The Sims 4, and select the Repair option.
If some of your game files got corrupted or you accidentally deleted them, repairing the game should fix the problem.
Restart your computer after repairing your game files, relaunch The Sims 4, and check if you can enable and run cheat codes.
I hope something helps.
Happy Simming!
