If you love building mansions and multi-story buildings in The Sims 4, I’m sure you miss the spiral staircases from The Sims 3.
The Sims 4 doesn’t currently support spiral staircases. You need to use regular staircases which typically take up a lot of room.
The good news is that you can customize your stairs in The Sims 4 and create various shapes. You can bend your staircase in any direction you want.
Of course, building L-shaped, T-shaped, or U-shaped staircases is far easier then building spiral-shaped staircases.
While the base game is quite limited as far as the spiral staircases are concerned, I do have a piece of good news for you.
How do you get spiral staircases in Sims 4?
You can get spiral staircases in The Sims using Syboulette’s spiral staircase set. The set includes four different staircases where the top and bottom are separated.
Syboulette’s spiral staircases actually work like elevators. There’s no animation of your Sim climbing up the stairs but they’ll get teleported above and below.
Syboulette uses Ravasheen’s Uplifting Elevators mod to make the spiral staircases functional.
The best part is that your Sims can use these stairs autonomously. The staircases are pretty versatile. They’re compatible with different wall heights. Each staircase set comes in three different heights.
You can download Syboulette’s spiral staircase set from her Patreon page.
How do you use Syboulette’s spiral staircase?
To use Syboulette’s spiral staircase, you need to download her spiral staircase set and Ravasheen’s Uplifting Elevators mod on your computer. Save both files in your Mods folder.
Make sure to enable script mods in the game settings. Go to Game Options, and tick the Script Mods Allowed checkbox.
Then, launch The Sims 4 and click on Objects by function. Go to Appliances, and scroll down until you find the spiral stairs.
Place them on your lot and enjoy using them.
Happy Simming!
