The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature: How the Luck System Works

Sims 4 Good Luck

There’s a new Luck System in the Enchanted by Nature pack, and it shows up in the Simology panel.

It only applies to Sims living in Innisgreen, so it won’t affect every save.

How Luck Affects Gameplay

Every day, a Sim wakes up with one of three luck states: good luck, ordinary luck, or bad luck.

This luck affects a bunch of things in gameplay. Good luck means better foraging, faster skill gains, and easier crafting or career progress.

For example, better quality food or crafts happen thanks to good luck.

Bad luck can make the game more challenging. If Sims have bad luck, foraging takes forever, fishing rarely works, and social interactions are more likely to fail.

They even start more fires while cooking.

Notifications pop up in the top right to show when luck affects a Sim’s actions.

How to Change Your Luck in The Sims 4

Luck can change based on outside events. For example, talking to certain Sims can influence luck.

For example, Spruce Almighty himself can grant good luck — but only if he’s feeling generous that day.

Sims can find, buy, or craft two different luck charms using the Apothecary Table. Luck charms like the Bunnyfoot boost luck, while a cow plant horn lowers it.

Fairies can also change their luck or others’ luck easily. That’s one of their special abilities.

You Can Disable Luck in Game Settings

If you don’t like this system, you can just turn it off in the game settings.
