If your trees are glowing in The Sims 4, this typically indicates the “Evolve” option is available. Click on your tree, and select “Evolve” to increase the quality of the plant.
There are 5 levels of quality that your trees can have: Normal, Nice, Excellent, Magnificent, and Perfect. Keep on watering and fertilizing your trees to further evolve them and harvest high-quality fruit.
The Forbidden Fruit Tree and Growfruit Tree glow all the time in The Sims 4. This happens by design. They have some sort of an aurora around them which is different from the sparks that indicate the plant is ready to evolve.
In some worlds, especially in the parks, you can find lots of glowing trees. Have your Sim visit those areas at night time and watch the trees glow in the night.
Certain trees such as the Magic Tree that leads to Sylvan Glade or the Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree may sometimes emit colorful flashing lights to attract your Sim’s attention.
These trees allow your Sim to explore hidden worlds and find rare objects.
If your trees glow in a weird way, this may indicate something’s wrong with your graphics. Make sure to update your graphics card driver to the latest version, restart your computer, and launch the game again.
Tweak your graphics settings if necessary.
Happy Simming!
