There are two ready-made apartments with this trait: 701 and 708 ZenView Apartments. They’re located in the Fashion District.

Sims living in an apartment with the Quake Zone trait may experience minor earthquakes every other day. When that happens, the game camera will shake and your Sims will panic. They’ll also get the Tense buff for a while.
The tremors typically last between 3-5 seconds. But during this time, you can’t control your Sim. You’ll have to wait until the earthquake stops to give new commands to your Sims.
Nothing actually happens to your Sims during a tremor other than getting a Tense moodlet. If they’re sleeping, the tremor will wake them up.
The tremors often break household items that your Sim will then need to repair or replace. However, they won’t trigger random fires and the plumbing pipes will remain intact.
As you can see, earthquakes occur quite frequently on lots with the Quake Zone trait. The good news is that the tremors don’t last for an eternity.
