To catch Mountain Lionfish in Sims 4, go to Granite Falls, and fish at the Deep Woods waterfall. This is the only place where you can catch this fish. To increase your chances of catching this rare fish, make sure your Sim has reached at least Level 6 of the Fishing skill.
To access the Deep Woods area, go to the Granite Falls Forest National Park. You’ll find a cave entry covered in shrubs. Click on the entry, select Explore and navigate the tunnel maze until you reach the Hermit’s House.
Go to the nearby waterfall, click on the fishing sign and wait patiently until the Mountain Lionfish strikes.
What type of bait should I use to catch Mountain Lionfish?
You don’t need to use bait to catch Mountain Lionfish. But keep in mind you’ll need multiple attempts to catch this fish without bait.
If you want to catch Mountain Lionfish faster, you can use endangered species of fish as bait. Sims that have reached Level 10 of the Fishing skill can catch Mountain Lionfish using endangered fish as bait after three or four attempts.
After catching this rare type of fish, you can add it to your collection. Or you can mount it on a wall as decoration. If you want to impress your Sim’s friends, build a nice trophy wall where you can mount all the fish you’ve caught.
