Snooping Sims are not inherently Burglars in The Sims 4. They don’t autonomously break into their neighbors’ homes and won’t trigger burglar music while trespassing or breaking in.
They only engage in such activities when explicitly instructed by players.
In The Sims 4: For Rent, Snooping and secrets aren’t connected to being a burglar or anything.
But, if you want to spice things up a bit, you can pair the Nosy trait with the Kleptomaniac trait for some interesting gameplay.
If your Sim is rocking the Kleptomaniac trait, they can hit up the break-in option to snatch some valuable stuff from their neighbors.
And guess what? You can do this on any lot, not just Residential Rentals.
But heads up, breaking in is a bit of a race against the clock.
If you don’t make your exit before the homeowner gets back and catches you red-handed, be ready for a showdown.
Things might get a bit physical, and they won’t be too happy about your impromptu visit.
