How acne works in Sims 4: Parenthood
If you have The Sims 4 Parenthood expansion pack installed, you can add pimples in CAS. Acne is a CAS item, a cosmetic detail that you can control.
You can enter CAS and add a few pimples to your Sim’s face to make the whole teenage experience more realistic.
As you can see, acne is pretty limited in The Sims 4: Parenthood.
Many Simmers use the Slice of Life mod to experience more realistic acne breakouts. However, some complained about frequent acne episodes after enabling this mod.
If this is becoming too big of an issue for you, simply delete the Skincare folder from the Slice of Life folder.

Acne is part of the teenage experience. The good news is that The Sims 4 High School Years tackles acne the light way.
For a lot of people, dealing with acne outbursts is really tough. Fortunately, your Sim doesn’t have to go through any major acne episodes. They’ll get acne breakouts from time to time but nothing major.
How to prevent acne breakouts in Sims 4
Make sure your Sim cleanses their face regularly to prevent frequent acne breakouts. You don’t need to do any special scrub treatments. Just ensure your Sim washes their face regularly and they should be just fine.
Click on the sink and select Apply Facial Cleanser. Do this twice a day to keep acne at bay.
Teens have been overlooked in previous Sims 4 expansions. Thanks to High School Years, you now have a plethora of new options that make playing with teenage Sims more fun.
You’ve got natural acne breakouts, new fashion styles, new hairstyles, teenage Sims can become Simfluencers or video game streamers, and more.
