In order to truly experience the immersive haptic feedback experience the PS5 DualSense controller has to offer, you need to play games that support this technology.
What PS5 games support haptic feedback?
Astro’s Playroom, Control Ultimate Edition, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, Returnal, and WRC 9 have the best haptic feedback implementation for PS5’s DualSense controller. There are over 100 PS5 games that support adaptive triggers.
For example, as your vehicle takes more damage in WRC 9 or WRC 10, pushing the adaptive triggers down gets harder and feels more “rough”. In Deathloop, the triggers actually lock when your gun jams.
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart takes haptic immersion to the next level. Every gun feels different. The game developers also implemented different steps on the R2 trigger for different fire modes. If you pull a trigger partially, you can fire one barrel. But if you pull it all the way, you can fire both barrels.
