If your biggest wish right now is to play Minecraft Dungeons together with your friends on Nintendo Switch, this guide describes all the steps you need to follow in order to enable this option. Enjoy!
Play Minecraft Dungeons Online Multiplayer on Switch
You need to log in to the game with a Microsoft Account. That’s the very first step you need to take.
If you don’t own a Microsoft Account, scroll down to the end of this guide until you reach the References section. Use the guide from Minecraft to create and set up a Microsoft Account.
Make sure you’ve got a valid Nintendo Switch Online Membership.
Launch Minecraft Dungeons.Login to your Microsoft Account as prompted on the screen.
Access your Microsoft Account by going to https://www.microsoft.com/link using a different device. Enter the code you got on your Nintendo Switch console.
Now use your Microsoft account to connect to Minecraft Dungeons. If you don’t want to do that now, you can link your accounts later on from Game Settings > Configure Online Play. 
Select the Online Game mode and select Add Friend to search for your friends’ gamertags. Add them to your list in order to play Minecraft Dungeons together on Switch.
You can join your friends’ game sessions from the main menu.
You can also invite your games to join your gaming sessions by starting an Online Game and then selecting Friends from The Camp.

- If you want to change your Microsoft account settings, you can do it here: https://account.xbox.com/settings.
- If you want to log out of your Microsoft account, go to Game Settings > Configure Online Play and disconnect the account.
- Press the L and R buttons on your Switch to enable online and offline games and switch between those modes.
