If you like playing NHL Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT), you can also unlock a series of interesting Loyalty Reward Packs. While these packs don’t contain any major features or cards, they can help you build your initial lineup a lot faster. Basically, they’re good for rerolls and other player sets.
How many NHL Loyalty Packs can I unlock?
NHL players can unlock up to 10 Loyalty Packs. Their exact number depends on how many NHL 21, 20 and 19 games you played. If you played three NHL games, you can unlock the maximum number of Loyalty Packs, which is 10.
Keep in mind that Loyalty Packs are untradeable.

- 1 NHL game brings you 3 Loyalty Reward Packs
- 2 NHL games let you unlock 5 Loyalty Reward Packs
- 3 NHL games help you unlock 10 Loyalty Reward Packs
When you load HUT for the very first time, you should find the Loyalty Reward Packs in the Unopened Packs section.
However, if you already played the game during the EA Early Access phase, you won’t get any packs. As a quick reminder, you need to buy a copy of the game in order to get the returning packs.
You need to have played each NHL game during their cycle to be eligible for Loyalty Packs. If you didn’t play NHL 19 and NHL 20, you can’t get Loyalty Packs from those games anymore.
If you are entitled to Loyalty Rewards, but you can’t find them anywhere, contact EA Support for further help.
By the way, many NHL players complained about not being able to edit their HUT lineup or save other game settings.
