Starting Valorant may not always work as many gamers who tried to launch the game have already seen. You may get all sorts of errors while the game loads. As a matter of fact, we’re going to talk about three such error codes in this guide: error 60,63, and 64.
As Riot explains, these errors pop up when something goes wrong during the startup process. As a first course of action, Riot recommends restarting the game client.
But if you already did that and the issue is still present, some of the suggestions listed in the guide below could solve the problem for you.
Fixing Valorant Errors 60, 63 and 64
- Ensure everything is up to date. And by that, we really mean everything. Check if there are any pending operating system updates and install them. After you did that, restart your computer twice to make sure the change take full effect. You also need to update your graphics drivers. Don’t forget to check for game updates as well.
- Make sure there are no other processing interfering with the game. Keeping all sorts of programs running in the background while you’re not actively using them is not a good approach. Some of these programs might potentially interfere with Valorant and block it from starting. Cross this issue off the list by disabling background processes. Try disabling your firewall temporarily and test if that solved the problem.
- Ensure you’ve got a stable connection. If your Internet connection in unstable, the game may fail to load and label this issue as a startup error. Unplug your modem, leave it like that for one or two minutes, restart your computer and then power up your network device back up.
- Contact Riot support. Since there is really not much information available about these specific errors, we suggest contacting Riot support if the methods above did not fix your problem.
