Fix PS5 errors E2-81760907 and E2-81760908

Error codes E2-81760907 and E2-81760908 are two mysterious PS5 errors that may occasionally break your gaming sessions. They usually occur when you want to view content in the PS Store and indicate that something went wrong or the console couldn’t find the games or apps you were looking for. Unfortunately, there are no other details as to why might have caused this glitch.

How can I fix PS5 errors E2-81760907 and E2-81760908?

First of all, check if there are any known issues affecting PlayStation Network. If there are, wait until Sony has fixed the problem and try again later.

Use the PS app

If these errors are preventing you from viewing or downloading content from the PS Store, use the PlayStation app to purchase your games. Then go to Library and download the respective game(s).

Fix your connection

Power cycle your router and wait two or three minutes for your device to fully restart. Check if the issue is gone.

If you’re using a wireless connection, switch to a cable connection and check the results. Additionally, you can also remove your current connection and then set it up again. Enable automatic DNS settings if you’re using manual settings.

If other devices are using the same connection, disconnect them and check if you notice any improvements. Move your PS5 and wireless router closer together, and make sure to remove any obstacles that might be affecting the signal.

Forward your ports

If the errors persists, try forwarding your ports.

  1. Go to PS5 Settings and select Network.
  2. Select View Connection Status.
  3. Write down your console’s IP and MAC addresses. You’re going to use them later.
  4. Now, launch your web browser and log in to your router.
  5. Navigate to the Port Forwarding section. You need to manually assign the IP address to your PS5 console (use the address that you wrote down earlier).
  6. Then add the ports for TCP and UDP.
    • Add 1935, 3074, 3478-3480 if your router supports both protocols.
    • Otherwise, use 1935,3478-3480 for TCP and 3074,3478-3479 for UDP separately.
  7. Save the settings, restart your router and check if this solution solved the problem.

Check for active downloads

Is your PS5 console downloading anything at the moment? Navigate to Notifications, select Downloads and check if this is the case. Sometimes, your console may throw all sorts of errors if you’re trying to do something else while it’s downloading new games or the latest system updates in the background.

Wait until the download process is over, go back to the PS Store and check if the annoying E2-81760907 and E2-81760908 errors persist.
