Fix: New World Http Error Response

When you’re trying to log in to New World’s servers, you may sometimes get a strange @mm_authresult_Http_Error_Response error. The error window simply says the connection request failed. Unfortunately, restarting the game rarely helps.

How to fix Http_Error_Response error in New World

Disable and re-enable your firewall

To fix New World “Http_Error_Response” errors, disable and re-enable your Windows firewall.

1. Launch Control Panel
2. Go to System and Security
3. Select Windows Defender Firewall
4. Then click on Turn Windows Defender firewall on or off (left pane)
5. Check the Turn off Windows Defender Firewall checkbox.
6. Wait for one minute, and then re-enable your firewall.
7. Launch New World again and check if you can connect to the servers.

Check your date and time settings

Make sure your date and time settings are correct. New World’s servers check your computer’s date and time settings for security reasons.

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Time and Language
3. Click on Date & Time in the left-hand pane
4. Let Windows set your date and time settings automatically.

Restart your router

Make sure your Internet connection is fast and stable.

1. Unplug your router, and leave it unplugged for one minute to get rid of flea power.
2. Meanwhile, turn off your computer.
3. Then plug the router back into the wall outlet.
4. Wait for your router to boot up.
5. Start your Windows computer and wait until it goes back online.
6. Launch New World and check if you can connect to the servers.

By the way, if you’re using a wireless connection, try switching to a cable connection and check if you notice any improvements.

Flush DNS to reset the connection

1. Open Command Prompt as administrator.
2. Type the following commands one by one and press Enter after typing each command:
   • ipconfig / flushdns
   • ipconfig / registerdns
   • ipconfig / release
   • ipconfig / renew
   • netsh winsock reset
3. Restart your computer and check if the mm_authresult_Http_Error_Response error is fixed.

Disable IPv6

1. Exit New World.
2. Navigate to Settings, and select Network and Internet.
3. Click on Wi-Fi and select Change adapter options under Related Settings.
4. Right click your current network connection, and select Properties.
5. Then scroll down to Internet Protocol version 6.
6. Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TPC/IPv6) checkbox.
7. Restart your computer and launch New World again.
