Not able to log in to your NBA 2K account? Is the following error message glued to your PC or console screen: This feature is unavailable. You do not have the required account privileges?
This problem may prevent you from getting on the courts but you can fix it with the help of the solutions from this guide.
How to Fix NBA 2K This Feature is Unavailable Error
⇒ Quick Tip: Some NBA 2K features may not be available on your standard Xbox or PlayStation subscription. You need to have Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus in order to access and play all the online functions.
Fix 1 – Sign off from all PSN IDs (PS4 Fix)
- Press and hold down the PS button on the controller
- Go to Power > select Switch User
- Select the first account that is logged in, but don’t select the account you’re currently using
- Once you’re on the home screen of that account, press the PS button and select Power > Log Out of PS4
- Repeat these steps for the rest of the accounts signed in, except for the one you’re currently using
- Launch the game again and check if the error is gone.
Fix 2 – Disconnect other controllers (PS4 and Xbox Fix)
If you have another controller connected to your PS or Xbox console but you don’t have a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription on that other account, unplug the controller. Simply logging that other controller out should solve the problem, especially if you get this message only when you play with multiple controllers.
Fix 3 – Check your Xbox account restrictions (Xbox Fix)
- Go to the Home screen
- Scroll left from Home to launch the guide
- Go to Settings and select Account
- Select Privacy and online safety and go to View details and customize
- Make sure the following settings are set to Allow/Everybody: Share content using Kinect, Others can communicate with voice, and You can see and share content.
Fix 4 – Disconnect other Xbox Live accounts (Xbox Fix)
If you have multiple Live accounts logged in at the same time, try logging out of all the Gamertags. Use only the account that you want to use for playing NBA 2K. Press the Xbox Button > Home Screen > Scroll left to select that account.
Now, if the respective accounts are restricted, go to Setting and edit the restrictions.
Speaking of editing your accounts, go to Settings, navigate to Xbox Live online account privileges and enable social network privileges from there.
Fix 5 – Re-download your Xbox Live Gamertag (Xbox Fix)
- Go to the Home screen and press the Menu button
- Select Settings and scroll to the right
- Locate the Other People section and select Remove account
- Select the account and then select Choose this person
- Select Remove from this Xbox to confirm
- Press the power button until your Xbox shuts down
- Restart the device and then re-download your profile by signing into your Gamertag and selecting the option Allow your profile to download.
We hope something helps.
