Fix: Halo Infinite HCS weapon coating not showing up

Did you know that you can grab Halo Infinite HCS cosmetics simply by watching the Halo Championships on Twitch? Connect your Twitch and Halo accounts, and then watch an hour of the official HCS Raleigh to unlock HCS weapon coatings as Twitch drops. More specially, the skins are available for the Battle Rifle, Sidekick, and Assault Rifle.

But sometimes the HCS weapon coatings won’t show up. When users go to their Twitch inventory, there are no drops. Fortunately, there’s a handy workaround that you can use to solve the problem.

What to do if Halo Infinite HCS weapon coating is not showing up

If your Twitch drops do not show after watching an hour of the HCS Raleigh, they will never show.

1. Navigate to Halowaypoint.com.
2. Then, click on the user profile picture.
3. Click on Redeem code.
4. Click on History.
5. Refresh the page one time.
6. If there’s no weapon skin, this means you can’t get your HCS skin.

There’s no point in waiting for the page to update or refresh it countless times. You need to unlink your Twitch and Halo accounts and start all over again.

Make sure your Twitch account name is displayed in full on HaloWaypoint and not just “…”. Otherwise, you won’t be able to unlock the HCS weapon coatings.

Step 1: Unlink your account

1. Log into your Twitch account.
2. Click on your profile picture.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Select Connections.
5. Unlink your Twitch account.
6. Then, log in to HaloWaypoint.com.
7. Click on your profile picture.
8. Go to Settings.
9. Select Connections.
10. Click Unlink.

Step 2: Relink your account

1. Go back to Halowaypoint.com.
2. Relink your new Twitch account to your Halo account.
3. Log out, and then log back in.
4. Check if your name appears on Linked accounts on Waypoint.
5. If you keep seeing the three dots “…” instead of your full Twitch user name, relink your account.
6. Simply log out and log back in until you see your full Twitch account name instead of “…”.
7. Kept the page open and go to Twitch.
8. Make sure your account is linked to 343i on the Twitch Connections page.

Step 3: Watch an hour of the HCS Raleigh stream

You need to watch another HCS Raleigh stream on Twitch before the 19th of December.

1. Watch the stream that you desire the drop from for one hour.
2. After one hour, verify that Waypoint is not showing “…” at all.

Note: Waypoint needs to display your full username on Connections before you can click Redeem on Twitch.

Step 3: Redeem the code and claim your HCS skin

1. Go back to Twitch.
2. Go to the Drops page and click on Redeem.
3. Go to Waypoint (where you are already signed in) and make sure the drop is showing up.
4. Click on your profile picture.
5. Then, click on Redeem a code.
6. Check your History, and refresh the page.
7. The HCS weapon coating should be available now.

Keep in mind that Waypoint gives you the drop, not Twitch.
