After spending a lot of time scouting your favorite FIFA players, some of them might not be willing to relocate. As a result, you can’t even attempt to buy them.
What should I do if players won’t relocate in FIFA?
If players refuse to relocate in your FIFA game, you need to get promoted. Top players from a higher league will refuse to relocate to a lower-tier team. Once you get promoted, you’ll be able to sign any players from any league.
For instance, a player with a rating cap of 86 won’t join your team unless you win a few major tournaments.
In other words, when players refuse to relocate they simply think they’re too good for your team and politely decline your offer.
Certain leagues have prestige thresholds that will prevent top players from relocating. For example, if your team is in League Two, no players from MLS, or Premier League will come to you unless they have a release clause.
This clause bypasses the prestige threshold allowing players to relocate to a lower-tier team.
If you can’t afford to get some players with release clauses, focus on promotion and youth squad.
Prestige threshold exceptions
A few highly-skilled players from the Turkish, Swiss, and Australian leagues are willing to relocate to most teams. You need to identify those players, add them to your shortlist, and check who’s willing to relocate.
Alternatively, scout players from regions with smaller leagues. You should be able to find plenty of players willing to relocate in the Asian leagues.
