1. What is the release date of FIFA 21? The initial release date of FIFA 21 is October 6, 2020 for those who pre-ordered the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition. The game will be available for all the players starting October 9, 2020.
Players can use the EA Access (PS4, Xbox One) and Origin Access (PC) Play First Trials to play FIFA 21 starting October 1.
2. What is FIFA 21 Dual Entitlement? Dual Entitlement is a new option that allows players to upgrade their FIFA 21 game from PS4 to PS5, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, at no extra cost without buying the game twice.

3. Will my PS4 and Xbox One progress carry over to PS5 and Xbox Series X? Your FIFA 21 progress and content acquired within FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, and VOLTA FOOTBALL progression will transfer from PS4 to PS5 and back, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X and back. This includes players, items, coins, leaderboard placement, FIFA Points, and match record.
The following items are console-specific and won’t transfer from PS4 to PS5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X: Online Seasons, Co-Op Seasons, Career Mode, Pro Clubs, etc.
4. What is Career Mode Homegrown Talent? The Homegrown Talent is a pre-order benefit offered to players who ordered the Champions or Ultimate editions of FIFA 21 before August 14, 2020. The Career Mode homegrown talent means that players will automatically get a local youngster with huge world-class potential when selecting the first team to manage.
The player’s nationality depends on the country of the league. The Homegrown Talent benefit applies to every new save you start on your profile.
5. Is FIFA 21 going to be cross platform? FIFA 21 does not support crossplay although allowing players to play against each other on different platforms is a long-term goal for EA.
