The EA App doesn’t currently support any Hide feature that allows users to hide games. This means you have limited options to organize your library.
The option to hide games was a basic feature in Origin.
Unfortunately, the EA app tends to mix different versions of the same game in the library. You may end up with a game library filled with expired betas, old independent expansions, and duplicated remastered versions of the same game.
The EA App desperately needs a Hide feature
Gamers have long been requesting the addition of a Hide feature or Favorites list in the EA app library to keep their games organized and easily accessible.
Many EA app users are struggling with cluttered game libraries. This can lead to frustration and wasted time spent searching for a particular game.
Users have expressed their frustration on EA’s forums and other online communities, hoping that EA will consider adding the requested feature in future updates.
Hide feature request acknowledged
EA community managers confirmed they had been sharing feedback regarding the option to hide games with the dev teams.
This feature isn’t available yet in the EA app and I have been sharing the feedback provided on these forums with the teams.
Having the option to hide games in your library has been passed on.
Let’s hope the devs find the time to implement this feature.
What do you think about the lack of a Hide feature or Favorites list in the EA app? Do you think that these features would improve the overall user experience? Have you had any similar experiences with other game clients?
