Devil May Cry 5 isĀ an upcoming hack and slash game scheduled for release on March 8, 2019. The title will be available on all the major gaming platforms, including PCs, Xbox and PS4 consoles.
While Capcom has already revealed many details about the game, there is one question that hasn’t got a clear answer yet. Many gamers are wondering how many missions are there.
How many missions are in Devil May Cry 5?
Devil May Cry 5 has three campaigns and 30 missions as each character has 10 missions. After clearing all three characters, gamers will unlock a special end game mission. All three campaigns will reportedly be available from the start.
Thanks to this strategy, gamers can build up and upgrade all three characters. Previous MDC games supported on average 20 missions. However, 20 missions are simply not enough to flesh out three characters. Hence, you’ll have access to a plethora of missions i DMC 5.
Hopefully, these missions will also be expansive missions.
DMC5 character selection
Devil May Cry 5 allows you to select your character depending on the mission that you’re going to embark on. For some missions, you have the choice of playing as Dante, Nero, or V. However, for other missions, you don’t have the possibility of selecting your character.
Capcom’s Matt Walked confirmed this piece of information on Twitter:
Weāve mentioned that there will be a bunch of missions in the game. For some missions youāll have 1 character you can play as, for some you can select between two, and for some you can select between all three.
In other words, for certain missions, Dante, Nero and V they all play a role in the story. As a gamer, you can choose between them in those particular cases.
However, it’s still unclear whether you need to upgrade all the three characters separately or not.
