Many NBA 2K players complained the famous curry slide move is not working on their devices. Let’s take a look at what may have gone wrong and how to fix the issue.
Why Can’t I Curry Slide in NBA 2K?
If you can’t curry slide, most likely your hand movements are not following the correct order or they’re not well coordinated. The key to curry sliding is to hold the right controller stick down. Also, if the stick function is set to Dribble, the curry slide animation won’t activate.
How to Curry Slide Successfully
- Hold the right stick diagonally down opposite the ball hand. Don’t flip it, just hold it.
- And then move the stick in the diagonal direction you want. The key is to hold down the right-stick.
Important Tips
- Make sure the Pro stick function is set to Default. Don’t set it to Dribble moves. If you set the stick to Dribble, the curry slide won’t activate.
- Don’t push the stick straight down. If you do that, the game will trigger a shooting animation.
How to Defend Curry Slides
- Don’t stand in front of the players doing the curry slide. Instead, stand on the side of them. This will trigger a bump animation and they’ll get confused. Play sides on the screen.
- Try to have your big man hedge over to the side the other player is sliding to.
- Avoid chasing the player who’s doing the curry slide.
