Sage is an interesting Valorant Agent with unique abilities. She is the only Agent capable of healing allies. Phoenix has similar abilities but he can only use them to heal himself.

How can I check for myself if Sage can heal me?
Valorant players can check if Sage can heal them by holding the ALT key down and looking at her. Information on whether the heal is up or not will immediately appear on the screen. White means Sage is ready to heal you, while Grey means she cannot heal you yet.
Alternatively, you can make the healing information visible by clicking on the Controls option and then selecting Interface: Show Extended Info.
But if you don’t want that information to be visible on the screen all the time, you can simply hold down the ALT key to check information about all the utilities of your mates.

- Sage can heal both herself and her teammates using Heal Orbs, unlike Phoenix who can only heal himself.
- She can resurrect a dead team member (ultimate ability) to full health but she must get really close to dead ally Agents in order to be able to use her skills. This means she can turn a 5v5 round into a 6v5 improving your team’s chances of winning the game. This is a very handy ability to have, especially when Sage is the only one left to fight against the enemy team.
- Don’t waste Sage’s healing abilities on small wounds, don’t get obsessed with having 100% HP all the time. Use the Heal Orb only when your team mates are in a critical situation and it’s absolutely necessary to restore their health.
- Use the Heal Orb whenever necessary as this skill gets renewed every round. Sage can use it several times in a round. Heal teammates who have no armor or are below 50% of health first.
- Don’t involve Sage in opening duels. Keep mind mind she’s mainly a support and healer Agent. Let her stay behind her teammates.
- Since the best strategy for playing Sage is to stay behind, consider equipping her with sniper rifles and other long-range weapons.
- After initiating a Heal Orb, Sage needs a few extra seconds to pull her weapon back out. So, make sure it’s safe to use the Orb.
- Resurrecting is accompanied by a long animation, a loud noise and a killfeed alert letting your enemies know Sage just resurrected a dead ally Agent. Be prepared for an enemy attack shortly afterwards.
