Hey there, Simmers! While The Sims 4 is a great place to unleash your creativity, there are a few things you’ll want to steer clear of to avoid getting the boot. Here’s a quick rundown on what can get you banned from the game.
What Can Get Me Banned From The Sims 4?
Uploading content that contains hate speech, or offensive language to the Gallery, and using extremely disturbing mods can you banned from The Sims 4.
The game developers are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all players, and sharing hateful content in the Gallery goes against this principle.
Mods can be a fantastic way to personalize your gameplay experience in The Sims 4. However, using mods that contain extremely disturbing or inappropriate content can result in a ban.
Can You Get Banned From The Sims 4 for Cheating?
Using cheat codes built in The Sims 4 game such as motherlode won’t get you banned from The Sims 4.
The EA website promotes cheat codes because the gameplay is more fun that way.
Cheating is a big part of the game. Not only is it easy to access, but it’s even something we kinda, sorta, actually encourage.
Can You Get Banned From The Sims 4 Gallery?
You can get banned from the Sims 4 Gallery for hateful conduct. Using racial slurs, hate speech, or discriminatory language will instantly get you banned from the Gallery.
In The Sims 4 Gallery, the game developers have implemented an automated system to detect and prevent hateful speech and inappropriate conduct.
This system relies on algorithms that scan text input for words or phrases that could potentially be used in a derogatory or offensive manner.
The goal is to maintain a positive and respectful community within the game.
However, strict detection algorithms for hateful content can lead to false positives.
There have been cases of players getting banned for using the word “gay” to describe a gay family they uploaded to the gallery.
If you believe the ban was wrong, you can dispute it.
Can You Get Banned for Using Wicked Whims in The Sims 4?
Using the original version of Wicked Whims in The Sims 4 won’t get you banned. This is a mod used by adults. It does absolutely no harm if the only person seeing the content is the person playing the game.
However, using a modified version of Wicked Whims for children, toddler Sims, and animals will get your EA account permanently banned.
These are heavily disturbing mods and their use violates EA’s User Agreement.
These types of mods have deeply disturbing content, are not authorized by EA, and their use violates our User Agreement. If we detect players using this kind of mod content, they will no longer be able to play the game and will face permanent EA account bans.
The creator of Wicked Whims, Turbodriver, also condemns these versions of his mod.
Wicked Whims is fine, just make sure to download animations from the verified people on the WW’s website. Downloading heavily disturbing animations will result in your EA account getting banned.
As long as you’re not downloading anything that allows Sims of all life stages and animals to be in WW animations, you’ll be fine.
Can You Get Banned for Using Extreme Violence Mod in The Sims 4?
Using the Extreme Violence Mod in The Sims 4 won’t automatically get you banned from the game. Thousands of Simmers have been using this mod for years without getting banned.
Just make sure to set the autonomy so nothing happens unless you command it. Disable autonomy and nothing will happen without your input.
